Allegro?
Allegro to nazwa jednego z polskich internetowych serwisów aukcyjnych, działającego również w Czechach pod nazwą Aukro, na Węgrzech pod nazwą TeszVesz oraz w Rosji i na Ukrainie pod nazwą Au-Au.
Allegro powstało w związku z sukcesem amerykańskiego serwisu aukcyjnego eBay. Wystartowało w 1999 roku, będąc polskim oddziałem QXL Ricardo - brytyjskiej firmy specjalizującej się w budowie serwisów aukcyjnych. Na skutek działań finansowych (podniesienie kapitału zakładowego) władzę w spółce QXL Poland przejęła firma NIAA, co spowodowało roszczenia QXL Ricardo.
Jednakże na mocy podpisanego 29.06.2006 porozumienia dotychczasowi właściciele 92 % spornych akcji QXL Poland obejmą do 18 proc. akcji nowej emisji QXL ricardo plc. Jednocześnie strony zobowiązały się zakończyć ugodą wszelkie cywilne postępowania sądowe. Obecne kierownictwo spółki będzie w dalszym ciągu zarządzało firmą QXL Poland. Zmiany nie wpłynęły na funkcjonowanie serwisu allegro.pl.
Aukcje Allegro.pl zostały dołączone do wielu portali (m.in. Onet.pl, Wirtualna Polska, Interia.pl, Gazeta.pl), co zapewniło jeszcze większą popularność serwisowi.
System Allegro.pl jest oparty o komentarze użytkowników - za poprawnie przeprowadzoną transakcję jest naliczany punkt, za źle przeprowadzoną (w opinii kontrahenta) jest punkt ujemny. W przypadku oceny neutralnej punktacja nie ulega zmianie. Administracja allegro.pl nie ingeruje w treść komentarzy, a oceny (pozytywna, neutralna, negatywna) są wystawiane na zakończenie aukcji i nie można ich zmienić. Przed zakupem można zobaczyć historię sprzedającego oraz wystawione komentarze.
Allegro co roku włącza się aktywnie w działalność Wielkiej Orkiestry Świątecznej Pomocy organizując aukcje internetowe. Wtedy też rusza specjalne “WOŚPowe” wydanie allegro.
